For those special birthdays, family get togethers, the pre-nuptial gatherings, the girly get away's or the gents on tour, Fosseberry house is a great place to be. You can find all the entertainment you need without leaving the sanctuary of Fosseberry House, with its large rooms, a games room, 2 lounges, a bar, huge well equipped kitchen, formal dining room, themed luxury bedrooms, and hot tub and grounds outside, once you close the gates, you won’t want to leave.

But, if you’ve come to explore the area, then you are close to the historic city of Bath, for fabulous shopping and wonderful dinning and lively evenings, with many cocktail bars and good old English pubs, Bath has oodles to offer. And surrounding Bath, we are in the beautiful Cotswolds, with the Cotswold Water park, many other activities, such as go carting, archery, clay shooting, horse riding, fabulous walks, and the new Wave park in Bristol, plus many lovely quaint pubs, as well as many national trust houses and parks. For the petrol heads, the famous Castle combe racing circuit is just 5 mins away, next to the beautiful village of Castle Combe itself.

So whether staying in or venturing out, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Week stays, family holidays

Family get togethers, and summer holidays, Fosseberry House is in a great location to explore the Cotswolds and surrounding areas, including the historic and beautiful city of Bath, with great restaurants, shopping, cinemas, the famous Theatre Royal, and many other attractions. If its adventure you are looking for, we have the Cotswold water park, the Wave surfing pool in Bristol, many mountain bike tracks, Cheddar gorge and caves, or more sedate, punting in Bath.

And when you are done for the day, you will welcome the sanctuary of Fosseberry, when the gates have shut behind you, you are in your own little bubble. Chill with a book on the terrace, or take a cool drink and watch the kids splash in the hot tub, as the evening sun starts to set, no interruptions, no stress.

Mid-week mini breaks

Fosseberry house offers some great value mid-week mini breaks, from Monday to Friday. Come and explore the area, or just have a few cheeky days away from the rat race and luxuriate in the house and grounds, splash in the hot tub or have a cooking and baking extravaganza, in the fabulous well equipped kitchen or snuggle up in the cosy bar with roaring fire.

Conferences and meeting room venue

At Fosseberry House, we have a dedicated conference and meeting room, set in its own light and airy building in the grounds of the house. Although it’s only a stone’s throw away, it’s enough to separate the days discussions away from the social gathering of the evening. Seating 30, with excellent Wi-Fi and connectivity, a large wall monitor and power / ethernet sockets at every seat, and styled to be fresh and uplifting but not overpowering, it’s a perfect place to get from the office and do some future planning. We can also offer catering for the meeting and evenings if required.

Situated an hour and a half from London and 20 minutes from to the M4 / M5 junction, it’s a great location in the southwest to converge. We have plenty of space for parking and are 15 mins from Chippenham or Bath main railways stations. Bristol airport is 40 minutes away by car.

Come for the day, or stay over for a longer event, we are flexible with times and days required.
